Judy Arnall


Judy Arnall, Labatt’s Family Talk consultant, is a Canadian parenting and family life speaker, educator and author and perhaps most important of all, mom of five teens.

Judy believes that with our changing environment, parenting skills are more important than ever. “Parenting has changed in the past two decades, with the addition of a third parent – the media, and with changes in interpersonal communications between family members.”

Judy graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts and has been teaching normative parenting education for the past 17 years at several educational institutions, including the University of Calgary, Continuing Education, Chinook Learning, and Alberta Health Services.

Judy is the author of the bestseller, “Discipline Without Distress: 135 Tools for raising caring, responsible children without time-out, spanking, punishment or bribery.” As a parent of five children, Judy has a broad understanding of the issues facing parents and recently released an educational DVD titled “Plugged-In Parenting: Connecting with the Digital Generation for Health, Safety and Love.” She is also author of “The Last Word on Parenting Advice” and “The Parenting Information Maze: How to find the advice that fits your family.”
